This November sees the release of "How We Live", the 3rd studio album produced by Spectrasoul. Having worked with Jack and Dave since their first release on Shogun Audio back in 2010, we were thrilled to design the artwork for their latest project. The six track 12" vinyl EP and thirteen track gatefold CD package are self released on their imprint IshChat, and the artwork features an etching by Natascha Young. We combined Natascha's etching with a striking yellow, and subtle directional typography, to create an impactful and recognisable campaign.

Calyx & Tebee

—2017 Album Campaign

2017 sees the third campaign from Calyx & Teebee out on Ram Records / Sony BMG. For this project we've teamed up with photographer Davy Evans to create a series of abstract imagery that will run through ten digital singles and five printed 12" record sleeves.

We've created a bespoke font "Daylight" for the track titles, which is paired with the logotype we designed back in 2012. Shown here are the first four digital singles and we will keep you updated as the campaign progresses.

Junction 2

—2017 Art Direction

The last few months has seen us develop the new visual identity for Junction 2, a groundbreaking techno festival in London. Using the festival logo as a starting point, we worked with abstract photographer Davy Evans to develop a visual language that was inspired by the urban environment. We then arranged the imagery to create a sense of narrative and started to release artwork as the festival was announced towards the end of 2016.

The result is an evolving identity that builds intrigue and suspense as the festival approaches. View the full case study here.

Born Electric

—Latest 12" Sleeves

We have been working with Born Electric for over four years now. The electronic record label was set up by James Zabiela in 2012 and since then we have designed the brand identity, record sleeves and artwork for their world wide club nights and events. Since we started filthy back in 2004 we've worked for quite a few record labels, but having been with Born Electric from the start it does have a special place in our hearts.

Shown here are four recent vinyl releases. For each release we design the 12" sleeve, digital pack shots  products shots and social media advertising. We will have a full case study on all of our work for the label before the year is out so check back in a few months for that.
