Jamie Orlando Smith, a small, published photographer, commissioned us to design and produce a monograph for his project Disseminated Primatemaia. The book concentrates on the banal, unnoticed and forgotten landscapes on the peripheries of the city. His work looks at interaction of nature and culture, as well as the juxtaposition of control and chaos.

We created a revealed binding that would emphasize this main theme. The layout maximizes white space with minimal type, with imagery being pushed to the edges of the page.
