Field Rotation is a pseudonym for German composer and producer Christoph Berg. The album title ‘Licht Und Schatten’ translates from German to English as ‘Light and Shadow’. His music combines ambient, experimental classic and electro-acoustic sounds.

The artwork uses abstract forms to portray, simply, the idea of light and shadow on three different surfaces. The final four singles from the album each use two isometric shapes, which could be seen to have an ominous positioning to one another.
