Liquid Violet specialises in the production of dialogue for video games. More specifically they deal with casting and recording of actors, voice direction and localisation. The name Liquid Violet is taken from two elements.‘Liquid’ refers to the agile and flexible nature of the way they work, whilst ‘Violet’ refers to sound in the terms of a spectrum of light: Music is red, Sound FX is yellow and speech/dialogue is violet.

Our approach references a section of the client’s brief that comments: ‘Liquid Violet is joined up and well linked. A cohesive way of working internally.’ We created a typographic logo that draws its inspiration from liquid forms and a connectivity at the heart of the company. For the identity’s colourway we took a complete spectrum of colour and selected the violet area of that spectrum. The stationery was finished by colour edging the cards and debossing the logo.
