“Light In The Dark” is the first single from the long anticipated “Delay No More” album project by Spectrasoul. Released on Brighton based Shogun Audio they have teamed up with Mercury Prize nominee Terry Walker and Manchester vocalist Fox.

“These first two offerings represent polar-opposite extremities of style. As anyone who has ever listened to our music knows, we strive to produce a wide range of forward thinking, experimental yet accessible bass driven music”.

We have been commissioned to by the London Pleasure Gardens to create their revised brand identity and all affiliated marketing resources. Having seen the plans and visited the site this week we are very excited to be working with the LPG team on this vast regeneration project. Here is a brief overview:

“For over 200 years pleasure gardens were central to London social life. As fine ladies strolled in the lamplight, talents like Dickens, Mozart and Hogarth were inspired. Now, cutting edge culture in a 21st Century Pleasure Gardens will transform the heart of Olympic East London.

Long before festivals as we know them today, Pleasure Gardens were summertime venues where people from all walks of life converged to listen to music, admire paintings, stroll, drink, flirt and immerse themselves in the culture that defined this vibrant period.

The most famous pleasure gardens where in Vauxhall, but between 1851 and 1884 the Royal Docks had its very own Pleasure Gardens, named the Royal Victoria Gardens.

This is a two stage project to kick start the regeneration of The Royal Docks. The first stage involves bringing East London Culture to The Olympic Last Mile, the second stage aims to support the cultural legacy of the games through the provision of a multi-functional cultural destination.

Elements will include a concert stage, a floating restaurant & cocktail bar, landscaped walkways and wild gardens, artisan cafes and bars, a dome venue, a guerrilla art-hotel, riverside terrace, water-attractions including floating cinema & open-air summer shows.”

To get a better understanding of the project take a look at their website HERE.

Last year we were delighted to receive a commission to design the artwork for Leftfield’s live album Tourism. The album was recorded over a six date tour of Australia and culminated in the bands headline performance at The Future Music Festival in Sydney.

The package contains two audio CD’s as well as a live performance DVD. Initially the package is set to be released in Australia, but has also now been licensed to the UK for release later in the year. There will be a full case study on the filthy site coming soon.
