Junction 2 Festival

—Warming Up


Continuing our relationship with LWE (London Warehouse Events), we were commissioned to create the visual identity for the 2018 Junction 2 Festival (watch this space).

As part of the build-up to the summer event, two warm-up parties are planned in Bristol and London that required a separate creative identity.

The brief was to avoid specific references to Boston Manor Park (Junction 2’s Location) and focus on the iconic Motion and Tobacco Dock venues. Our approach was to design an abstract composition using slices of photography, closely focusing on intriguing areas of each venue. 

To accompany this, we simplified the logo to a simple J2 marque and applied a flexible typographic layout for use across printed and digital campaigns.
