Joseph Ford is an internationally renowned photographer. In his own words: "The best summary of what I do is storytelling with a side order of off-beat creativity".
Joseph approached us to create his brand identity, design a printed promotional pack for his agents to use, and build his new website to house his online portfolio.
The branding consists of two elements: a bespoke sans-serif logotype combined with a cursive / signature style roundel. Joseph asked for ‘luxury, with a creative twist' and our solution is a direct response to this request. The concept is then applied to the business card production — using a fluro spot colour, white matte foil and G.F Smith Cobalt Blue stock.
The promo pack houses five printed photographs and works as a direct mailer and something that potential clients will keep on their desk or coffee table. We worked alongside GF Smith and L&S to develop a bespoke zip mechanism envelope / folder, which means that once the recipricantt has opened the pack it still works as a sealable folder.
The last element of the project was to design and build Joseph's online portfolio. The website is a simple, user-friendly platform that works seamlessly across all devices. There are two ways to view the photography; either full screen or through a grid that connects projects or categories. We also created a news section allowing Joseph to update his site with regular press, features and awards.
