—2020 Campaign

Programmed across two days with over sixty artists, Junction 2 has grown to become the UK's most respected house & techno festival.

Located at the intersection where the M4 meets the woodland of Boston Manor Park, LWE briefed us to reference the stark contrast of industrial and natural environments for the 2020 festival identity.

Taking inspiration from the physical form of the J2 logo - we created a series of animated films with shifting, 3D geometric shapes that gradually reveal the complete logo mark.

Using natural renders to represent day one of the festival and harder, industrial textures reflecting day two, the spliced logo morphed between these two states for each of the six announcements.

Minimal typography detailing the artist line-ups and event information combine with simple transitions to finish each video.
